Searching For Rainbows After The Storm

Flirts

I was in the check out line at the store tonight boppin’ along to the music. (Eric Clapton, Lay down Sally) I swipe my card and I’m waiting for the transaction to complete.

I glance to my right just in time to catch this guy checking me out. He’s right alongside his wife when he drops back a few steps out of her field of view. He gives me the once over and a wink, then moves back alongside the wife all in about three seconds. I’ll bet he’s given that routine a lot of practice, it was executed flawlessly. Oh yeah, he was slick!

  2. A little bit flattered, a little uneasy, and a whole lot of something I haven’t quite figured out yet.
