Still Here !!!

Yes I’m still blogging & no I didn’t die from whatever it was that made me sick. I’m still not 100% and it looks like I am not going to make it to the blues festival this afternoon and evening in the park. Oh well, that is one thing there is plenty of around this area in the summer, free concerts.

In other “my life” news I am going to be in a wedding. Let’s keep things in perspective here, it is not one of those big fancy deals with horrid puke green bridesmaids gowns. No that would be what everyone else gets to do. Not me, I have been asked to be one of two witnesses in, you couldn’t guess this in a thousand years, a “jailhouse wedding.” I have a feeling that I will also be the photographer if a camera is permitted. I’ve never been to a wedding before where the bridal party will be surrounded by armed guards and the groom arrives in an orange jumpsuit handcuffs & shackles. I seem to have a way of landing smack in the middle of things most people could never even dream of.

The last wedding I was involved in was as the videographer. The bride was stunning wearing jeans, t-shirt and white sweat sox. The ceremony & reception both took place in the recreation room of the local senior citizens retirement complex. Arrangements were handled by the brides grandmother.

Even at my worst there is never a dull moment in my life.
