After Midnight

Still doing everything I was told I can’t

Sigh

At this very moment I should be loading my baggage into a shiny red convertible (top down) at San Francisco International Airport. Sixty eight degrees and sunny ready to enjoy a long weekend with some of the people I respect most in this world. Suzanne’s book signing, Shutter Sisters photo walk, lots of things that I could really enjoy right about now. BlogHer ‘08 just wasn’t in the cards for me. As much as misery loves company I still feel equally bad for des and everyone else that would love to be there but can’t. I could ramble on about all the great photos I’m not going to be able to take and all the great video I’ll never shoot and all the wonderful people I can’t get to meet but I’ll just leave it at that.

For now I guess I’m stuck with half a seedless watermelon & a yet to be created pizza.

  1. I got a notebook from shutter sisters last year. I used it to take notes on all the people I was going to mock. I still have it.

  2. Actually, I could think of hundreds of places I would rather be than with people who build up their own self-worth or skills. Keep the Shutter Sisters, I wasn’t impressed.

  3. Sorry – I disagree with your other commenters. I’ve enjoyed finding the Shutter Sisters site very much! Don’t fret about missing Blogher too much. There’s always next year!

  4. So glad you came to visit Debbie.
No need to be sorry, we agree to disagree around here and it seems to work well.

I enjoy Shutter Sisters immensely. I’ve been around cameras a long time and I really enjoy seeing others discover the magic of photography.
