Searching For Rainbows After The Storm

I started thinking about this yesterday when I read the pictures of pictures post at Shutter Sisters. Somehow the whole thing exploded this afternoon into a slice of my photography history. Some of the photos go back almost 40 years. All of the photos were taken by me. Many were developed, processed and enlarged by me. All kinds of cameras, 110, 35mm, & 120 (6 x 6). There is a whole lot there to look at so I made the image clickable to enlarge for a better view. Over the years I’ve done all kinds of pictures. These are just a few samples, most from the pre-digital, pre-autofocus pre-auto everything days.

  1. What a neat shot! Of course, as a Memory Preservation coach, I see lots of stories behind those photos just waiting to be preserved.

  2. Does it make you sad Sis to look at those photographs of what was and now is gone? What has happened to us Sis to bring us to this state we find ourselves? Shouldn’t we be so much more that what we are?

    Love,
    Kim.
