Smile and wave is what I am doing on this Thanksgiving. I am smiling as a result of winning my three year battle with Social Security and I am waving bye-bye to the hostility, degradation and abuse I have suffered at the hands of The Department of Social Services. They will soon be out of my life forever.
I was told today that I am a strong courages woman that fought for her rights and won. That made me feel really good. I arrived home to more good news. A close family friend that had suffered a prescription drug mishap recently has just been released from the hospital and is home with his wife and children. Lots to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. Oh, and one more thing, I will be a guest not hostess at this years holiday festivities!

Yes Sis, this is a wonderful Thanksgiving. I am so happy for you. You don’t know just how much the stress you have been under has worried me. Yes, you are a courageous woman, and I am so proud that you are my sister. I have always admired you Sis, and I look up to you, you are my big sister in many ways.
