After Midnight

It seems I wasn’t the only one enjoying a breath of fresh air on a sunny spring Friday afternoon.

I brought along my DSLR today with only a 50mm lens. Compared to the point and shoot cameras I usually take with me my aging Canon Digital Rebel is like hauling a boat anchor along with me and it does not fit in my purse.

When I stopped at the bank I was not about to leave it in the car so I took it with me. I thought for sure I would be questioned as to why I had a camera in the bank. I filled out my withdrawal slip and waited in line. I handed the teller my withdrawal slip, she looked at my camera on the counter, looked at the withdrawal slip, looked at her computer, and then looked at me. She said, “your handwriting is getting too fancy you are going to have to sign a new signature verification card.”

It appears there are still a few *firsts* out there for me to experience.
